In collaboration with Asus and Metro Nieuws, we created our first project for Android Wear. The main goal of the project was making a simple app with relevant content for the user. The app is focused on users who want to see a small selection of popular articles on-the-go. When the user wants to read the full article, they can view it on their phone.
The watch app features quick and simple interactions, while the phone companion app provides an experience catered to a more focused user.
Android Wear apps are not available as standalone apps and always need a companion app on the connected smartphone. That’s why we also created an Android app that allows the user to read and save articles on the phone.
