Orange Tribes was asked to design and develop the Windows Phone and Windows 8 experience for popular Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. De Telegraaf offers the widest range of titles available in one compact app.
The grid
De Telegraaf has a very distinct design, where their online presence looks a lot like their newspaper. Our biggest challenge was translating this presence into a design that would look great on both tablet and desktop.
We created a grid in which articles could be displayed in different shapes and sizes, depending on the resolution of the device, while still maintaining the busy feel of De Telegraaf.

We designed the phone app to feel at home on the Windows Phone platform, while still maintaining the characteristic Telgraaf look.
